Our services:

At 56 Dean Street we offer a free, confidential service providing the full range of contraceptive methods:

  • Pills
  • Patches
  • Rings
  • Implants
  • Injections
  • Intrauterine methods (“coils”, IUD and IUS)
  • Condoms – male and female
  • Diaphragms
  • General contraceptive advice
  • Emergency contraception (pills and copper IUD)

Contraception services are by appointment, but women may walk in for emergency contraception and condoms.

Appointments can be made by calling 020 3315 6699.

Women attending for IUD/S (coil) appointments should have had a recent sexual health screen (for chlamydia and gonorrhoea) and should not have had unprotected sex (i.e. should be on a method of hormonal contraception or have used condoms) from the time of the last period until the IUD is inserted.

Women should ask for a double appointment for IUD insertions and implant removals.
