HIV PrEP pills usually contain 2 drugs tenofovir and emtricitabine. The treatment gives more than 99% protection against catching HIV. We want to make it as easy as possible to get PrEP. That’s why we offer a range of options.
Anyone wanting to take PrEP for the first time can walk into Dean Street Express without an appointment.

You’ll need to order a home HIV test kit first.
We’ll also ask you to come to the clinic for a kidney blood test at least once a year. Ask us about signing up to PRIME at your next visit.
Perfect if you want an appointment as soon as possible. We release Priority PrEP appointments every day – Choose ‘Dean Street Priority PrEP’. The nurse will check your blood tests and give you the meds. We’ll ask you to pick up an SHL test pack from ground floor reception to check for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea as we won’t test you in clinic. (Or you can order one online)

If you’re about to run out of PrEP, you can walk into Dean Street Express for an emergency supply. We’ll give you enough to last until the next available appointment.
